Social Projects
Social Projects
The Social Projects and Ethical Charter are statutory documents outlining the key objectives of the Union des Secours Bouddhiques, for which affiliated Secours Bouddhiques will receive support.
Outside these statutory documents of the USB, the activities of each Secours Bouddhique remain under their own initiative.
Key Actions and Ancillary Actions:
Key actions respond to the objectives defined by the “Social Projects” put forward by the USB and to which the Secours Bouddhiques have affiliated themselves.
Ancillary actions are taken at the initiative and under the responsibility of each Secours Bouddhique, in order to meet the specific demands and requirements arising from their own experience.
Social Project – “Circle of Benevolence”
This is the federating “social project” of the USB and its affiliated associations. The goal is for each Secours Bouddhique to be a place of listening and sharing.
Social Project – “Solidarity Mutual Aid Network”
It aims to establish a friendly network of available volunteers to provide occasional help and companionship at the request of people in need (e.g., hospital or nursing home visits, running errands, housekeeping, etc.).
Social Project – “Housing”
- Assistance with home ownership
- Assistance with finding rental accommodation
- Mediation between landlord and tenant
- House moving support
- Home furnishing assistance
- Microcredit offers
Social Project – “Skills Network”
To provide access to a multi-disciplinary network of skills, made up of friends and sympathisers who can provide sound advice and occasional expertise.
If you have specific skills and wish to join this network or if you would like to help in any other way, please feel free to contact us.
All those of goodwill are welcome…
